Remembrance of Things Past
It's terrible to lose a loved one. Even more terrible is when that loved one's last phone call to you is telling you that they are about to die. And there's nothing you can do about it.
In this episode, a man who was once a serial killer has developed Alzheimer's. His son, trying to help his father heal, began trying to appease the psycho part of his father by bringing him victims to kill. Rossi (Joe Mantegna) recognized the way the similarities between this case and an unsolved case he worked years before.
Why it's disturbing:
It's enough of a blow to a family to lose someone they love but to be talking to that loved one, helpless, knowing that there's nothing you can do to save them... that's no something that will ever be forgotten or will ever go away.
